Our Villages

The villages of Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Tamariu are three fishing villages situated in the centre of the Costa Brava. The area is a short drive from Girona (Gerona) - Barcelona where there a large number of flights arriving daily from lost cost airlines such as Ryanair, Easyjet.

Calella

Calella - Possibly best small town on the Costa Brava with easy walking access to selection of lovely beaches, tasteful architecture. Good places to eat and drink whilst watching the passers by. Easy coastal walks. Wonderfully situated Botanical Garden overlooking the water.Popular with artists for paintings.

Llafranc - nothing changes on the front here at one of the prettiest settings on the Costa Brava - shops. hotels, cafes and restaurants - long beach, good swimming, lovely small port - easy walking access to Calella - continuing past further attractive properties as found at Llafranc.

Tamariu - somewhere you want to return to time and time again. Selection of good restaurants overlooking the beach. A bottle of Rosado, choose from selection of fresh fish, then crash out on the beach, What better as a favourite relaxing experience.

Girona — Costa Brava Airport The Girona—Costa Brava airport is located 12 kilometres from Girona. There is no public transport to Girona but a Ryan Air bus goes to the Girona bus station every hour between 05.00—22.00 and the ride takes 25 minutes. The bus goes from Girona to the airport every hour between 05.30 and 00.30. A one-way ticket costs €1,75 while a round trip ticket costs €3,30. For more information call +34 902 361 550. Taxis can be found just outside the arrivals terminal and a 15—20 minutes trip to Girona costs around €18. Avis, Europa, Eurocar and Hertz all rent cars at the airports, however, advance booking is recommended.
